On the 1st of December 2014, Abdallah Aldaw Shagag, who lives in GARDOOD AL-ZIBAL village around 5km south of ABBASYIA town, and Younis Abdulraheem Degail, who lives in GAMBARAYA village around 4.5km south of ABBASYIA town, were shot dead by a group of army personnel while driving their car on the road between KHOR AL-MIGARH and ABBASYIA town. This incident occured because the two men refused to give the soldiers a ride to ABBASYIA town in south Kordofan.
SUDO UK calls on the Government to investigate the incident and hold accountable those groups or individuals for the killing.
