As the end of the rainy season approaches in Darfur and farmers are preparing to harvest, the Janjaweed militias have intensified their killing and looting in South and Central Darfur in order to prevent farmers from carrying out the harvesting.
On 23 October 2041 in GEREIDA locality near DONKEY ABYAD, two men were killed and another was injured in their farm and their properties and livestock were looted by Janjaweed militia.

The police and UNAMID were informed but no action was taken.
On the same day in DALMA area in east JABAL MARRA, two men were killed in their farm for the same reason. Farmers were warned by the Janjaweed militia not to try to harvest their farms as they intend to use it to graze their animals.
