Mass demonstrations and the killing of protesters

Khartoum, Umdurman, Madani and Port-sudan

Since the eruption of mass demonstrations in Khartoum, Umdurman, Madani and other cities and towns in Sudan on the 23rd, 24th and 25th Sep 2013 over 80 people have died so far and hundreds have been injured, due to the government responding with use of maximum brutality and lethal force against the protesters.

Here are some of the names of those who were unlawfully killed or injured by the Sudan government.

Communications within and/or to Sudan are cut-off by the government to stop communication between the protesters, as well as to stop the flow of information outside the country in an attempt to cover-up Human Rights violations.
